California X12 Election Campaign and Lobbyist Reporting,
TS 113 Implementation Conventions
The following Implementation Conventions (IC) specify the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) requirements for filing Election Campaign and Lobbyist Disclosure Statements with the California Secretary of State. These ICs define the required usage of American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Accredited Standards Committee (ASC), X12 (Version/Release 4021) Transaction Set 113, Election Campaign and Lobbyist Reporting. Copies of the complete Transaction Set and other X12 standards can be obtained from the Data Interchange Standards Association(DISA).
These ICs are being developed incrementally with the final IC being released at the beginning of December 1999. The ICs are being developed in the order in which it is anticipated that they will be filed with the Secretary of State. ICs for forms anticipated to be filed first are being developed first. Please check this page periodically to obtain the latest ICs.
A code list used in conjunction with the ICs is also being developed and will be updated with each new IC.
